As with all moving mechanisms, a certain maintenance is required to maintain your pump working at peak efficiensy. This particulalry relates to the impeller's well, where small particle of debris find their way impacing the operation ot the pump and causing the pump to stop functioning. We recommend at a minimum bi monthly cleaning of the impeller.Also the pumps used on our tanks are designed to be completely submerged when in operation. Failure to maintain minimum water level cause the pump to overheat and woid the warranty.
